Cake display cabinets bring great convenience to cake storage. When using them for the first time, I believe many people don't know how to maintain them, so here I will share with you the precautions for use.
(1)Do not store too much food in the cake display cabinet. Keep an appropriate amount of space to allow cold air to circulate throughout the cabinet and avoid long-term full-load operation.
(2)Seal some foods in fresh-keeping bags before putting them in to avoid problems such as moisture, flavor mixing, and water loss.
(3)It is forbidden to put volatile, corrosive, acid or alkaline substances to prevent damage to the cake display cabinet.
(4)Cakes can be put into the cake display cabinet while they are still hot. Although this will increase the power consumption of the compressor, scientific research shows that letting food cool down is conducive to bacterial growth, so putting them in while hot can reduce the reproduction rate of bacteria.
(5)Pay attention to the power supply instructions and use the cabinet under a safe voltage. The common power supply is 220V, 50Hz alternating current. Of course, ensure proper grounding to avoid electric shock.
(6)Carefully maintain the equipment in accordance with the attached user manual.
(7)In case of failure, contact after-sales service to solve the problem.
Tip 1: Turn on the power switch 10 minutes in advance when using and set the appropriate temperature, which helps to cool the cakes quickly.
Tip 2: Arrange reasonably, following the principle of "not not sticking to the wall, not crowded": keep a 3-5cm distance between the cakes and the side walls and rear wall of the cabinet (to facilitate cold air circulation and avoid uneven local temperature); place cakes with high appearance and good sales volume in the front display area first (to enhance visual appeal), and the height of cakes on each layer should not exceed 2/3 of the height of the partition (to prevent cold air from being blocked and make it easier for customers to see the products), so as to ensure the fresh-keeping effect and optimize the display experience.
Tip 2: Make good use of auxiliary tools. Place reusable silica gel dehumidification boxes in the cabinet (to absorb excess moisture and prevent the cake surface from becoming soft); stick anti-slip pads on the edges of the shelves (to prevent cake trays from sliding and falling); attach labels to transparent shelves (indicating the cake name, production date, and shelf life, which is convenient for staff management and customers to understand). These detailed optimizations improve the efficiency of use and the standardization of product management.
Tip 3: Clean regularly to keep it dry and odor-free. Perform a light cleaning at least once a week: wipe the glass and shelves inside the cabinet with a soft cloth dipped in warm water (avoid using corrosive cleaners to prevent scratching or leaving chemical odors); perform a deep cleaning once a month, take out all items, clean up food residues and condensed water in the corners of the cabinet, and dry the inside of the cabinet with a dry cloth (excessive condensed water is easy to breed bacteria and cause the cakes to get damp). After cleaning, ventilate for 10 minutes before putting the cakes back to keep the inside of the cabinet dry and odor-free.
Tip 4: Set the shelf height reasonably, which is convenient for access, prevents the cakes from being squeezed and deformed, and improves the convenience of use.
Tip 5: Regularly adjust the placement position of the cake display cabinet to break visual fatigue and arouse attention. Such spatial reconstruction helps to strengthen the value of food and create a "dynamic business sense".
